Terms of use

Last updated October 7, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Ishai Rubinfeld, trading as Extrudio, for using Extrudio: this website, extrudio.site, and the app at app.extrudio.site. By creating an account, using the app, or buying a plan or credits, you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains what we do with your data, and our refund policy when you can get your money back. Questions go to support@extrudio.site.

The short version

  • Upload only files you have the right to use.
  • The images you render are yours to use, commercially too.
  • Renders come close to a real print, but can’t promise exactly how one will look.
  • Polar, our reseller, sells our plans and credits, and handles payments and refunds.
  • A plan renews every month until you cancel. Its credits end at each renewal; starter and pack credits don’t expire.
  • Credits have no cash value.
  • We keep improving Extrudio, and it can be down at times. We email you 30 days before a plan’s price goes up.

Who we are

Extrudio is run by Ishai Rubinfeld, a sole proprietor in Israel, trading as Extrudio. You can write to us at support@extrudio.site, or through our contact form.

Using the service

Extrudio is a tool for sellers and makers, to use in their business. You must be 18 or older to use it. If you use it for a business, you accept these terms on the business’s behalf; if you use it privately, you keep the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

You sign in with a code sent to your email address, or with Google, so keep that account secure. You’re responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else is using it, write to support@extrudio.site.

Your files and renders

You keep every right you have in the files you upload. Upload only files you have the right to use: models you designed, or models whose license lets you render them and sell with the images. Many models shared on MakerWorld, Printables and similar sites limit commercial use, so check before you render someone else’s design.

You let us store, process and render your files, only to provide the service to you. We don’t use them for anything else, such as training AI or promoting Extrudio, unless you agree.

The images you render are yours to use as you like, commercially too. We claim no rights in them, and we won’t publish them or show them to others without your permission.

If you think someone is using Extrudio with your design without the right to, write to support@extrudio.site and we’ll look into it. We may remove files that break someone’s rights, and we close the accounts of people who do it again.

Renders and your listings

Renders are built from your G-code, with each filament’s color from our library, in the scene and light you choose. They come close to a real print, but a real one can differ: filament batches vary, printers vary, and screens show color differently. It’s up to you to describe your products accurately to your buyers.

Each marketplace sets its own rules for product images, and some don’t allow renderings. Following them is up to you.

Credits

Credits are prepaid units for rendering: they pay for final images and videos. An image costs 1 credit at Standard quality, 2 at High and 4 at Ultra, and a video costs 20. Credits are taken when a render starts. Previews are free; if an image fails, retrying it is free, and if a video fails, its credits come back.

Starter credits
Every new account gets 20, for Standard and High quality. They don’t expire.
A plan’s credits
Each month of a plan adds its credits. They’re spent before any others, and those left at the renewal, or when the plan ends, don’t carry over.
Credit packs
Bought once, and they don’t expire. The 70-credit pack is for any account; the packs of 200 and 650 credits are for accounts with a plan.

Standard and High quality come with every account. Ultra comes with the Pro and Studio plans.

Credits have no cash value. They exist only in your account, and can’t be sold, transferred or exchanged for money. When an account is deleted, its credits go with it.

Plans, packs and payment

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller, Polar (Polar Software, Inc.). Polar is the merchant of record for all our orders: the seller in each purchase, which takes your payment and handles refunds.

So when you buy, you buy from Polar, and Polar’s Buyer Terms apply to the purchase as well. Prices are in US dollars, as our pricing page shows them. Polar adds VAT or sales tax according to your country, or includes it, and sends your receipt.

Monthly plans
Maker, Pro and Studio are paid monthly, in advance, and renew each month until you cancel. Each paid month adds the plan’s credits.
Cancelling
Cancel anytime: with “Cancel plan” on your account page in the app, or in Billing and invoices there. The plan runs to the end of the month you paid for, then ends. Your account then has no plan, and keeps its starter and pack credits.
Changing plans
An upgrade takes effect at once: Polar charges the difference for the rest of the month, and the higher plan’s extra credits for that part of the month come right away. A downgrade takes effect at your next renewal.
A failed payment
If a renewal isn’t paid, Polar emails you and tries your card again for up to 21 days. Your plan stays meanwhile, and the new month’s credits come once it’s paid. If it’s never paid, the plan ends.
Credit packs
One-time purchases, which don’t renew.

Your card and your receipts are in Billing and invoices, on your account page, which Polar runs. Our refund policy says when you can get a refund.

Fair use

Don’t use Extrudio to:

  • break the law, or anyone’s rights, such as a designer’s copyright;
  • upload anything that isn’t a print file, or that could harm the service, such as malware;
  • overload it, probe it, scrape it, or get around its limits, such as the daily render limits;
  • resell access to it;
  • commit fraud, such as paying with a card or an account you aren’t allowed to use.

We may limit, suspend or close an account that does any of these, that doesn’t pay for what it bought, or that puts the service or the people who use it at risk. Where it’s fair to, we’ll tell you first, and why.

Our rights

Extrudio’s software, scenes, filament library, name and logo belong to us, or to those who license them to us. These terms let you use the service, and give you no other rights in it. Don’t copy the service or its code, resell it, or use our name or logo without our permission.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Extrudio running, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. It can be down for maintenance, or when one of our providers is.

We keep improving Extrudio, so its features, scenes and limits change. If a plan’s price goes up, we’ll email you at least 30 days before, and the new price starts at the first renewal after that, so you can cancel first. A pack keeps the price you paid for it; a new price for packs applies to purchases made after it.

If we stop the service for good, we’ll email account holders at least 30 days before, so you can download your images, and we’ll refund the unused share of what you paid: for credit packs, and for the month of a plan you’re in. Starter credits aren’t refunded.

Ending your account

You can stop using Extrudio anytime. To have your account deleted, ask from its settings in the app, or write to support@extrudio.site from the address on your account. If you have a plan, we cancel it at once, so it doesn’t renew, and delete the account when the month you paid for ends.

Our responsibility

Extrudio is provided as it is, without promises that it will be available, free of errors, or fit for a particular purpose.

To the extent the law allows, we’re not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost sales or profits, or for data you didn’t keep a copy of, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused the loss. Nothing in these terms limits a responsibility the law doesn’t let us limit, or rights you have as a consumer where you live.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, we post the new version here with a new date. If a change is significant, we’ll email account holders before it takes effect. If you keep using Extrudio after that, the new terms apply.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Israel. Disputes go to the competent courts in Tel Aviv-Jaffa, unless the law where you live lets you bring them to your own courts.
